AlphaCon 2022 - Board Games

General information

The main room will be setup including the board game play areas, the Alpha Gaming store, the games library and special event areas.

  • Up to 12 tables of various sizes accommodating up to 60 attendees playing board games; including Learn to play, BYO or games library.
  • Games Library will include 40-50 titles
  • Learn to Play Games 6-7 titles

Learn to play titles will include; Cthulhu Wars, Dune Imperium, Nemesis, Cubitos. More titles coming soon once selection is finalised.

Attendees are welcome to play the games supplied within the games library, as well as bring your own. Alternatively the Alpha Gaming Store will be setup with over 150 titles available to purchase across both the days.

Daily Giveaways

Simply by registering & attending AlphaCon 2022; you will gain one entry for each day booked, into the daily draws giveaways. Each day will have a separate pool of items and will be drawn daily from those registered for that days events. The pool will include various board games, roleplaying games, accessories or vouchers from our event sponsors. Last year we gave over $1,500 worth of goodies away!

Additional draw tickets can be purchased when booking, up to a maximum of 2 additional tickets per person, per day attending. Additional tickets are $5.00 each, funds received from the additional tickets will be used to increase the daily prize pools.

Additional tickets will increate your chance of being drawn and you could win multiple prizes. However, a maximum of two prizes can be claimed, per individual, per day.

Special Event - 1

I will be running a free to play, board game tournament using quick play games (games revealed on the day). This is a casual tournament event and will have small prizes for placing 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

Spots will be limited to 16 players per day. Registrations will start from 1pm on Saturday and 12pm on Sunday.

Special Event - 2

This event will be a surprise on the day, what I can tell you.

  • The game will have a co-operative & competitive element.
  • This be a lighter party style game, so everyone can get involved.
  • The game is designed to accommodate a large number of players.
  • The games will vary each day.
  • Prizes available, outlined in game rules.

No registrations required. The event will start from 4pm Saturday and 3pm Sunday.

Event attendees must register and pay the entry fee to lock down your booking. You will receive an invoice confirming your booking or email to confirm details. As spots are limited, please pay the invoice by the due date or the available spot may go to someone else.

Cancellations - No refunds will be given to any bookings cancelled after the 14th of June 2021. Unless the cancellation is triggered by Alpha Gaming due to event cancellation or special circumstances approved by us.
