AlphaCon 2025 will be held at Gungahlin Lakes Golf & Community Club on Sat 14th & Sun 15th of June 2025.

Tickets will be available from 1 April 2025.

More details will be available in the next couple of week. The website will be coming down towards the end of March while I work on AlphaCon 2025.

What is AlphaCon?

In 2021, I decided rent a venue to run a weekend of Roleplaying and Board Gaming. The event grew and evolved in the years that followed. I am excited to see how event will grow and evolve in 2025!

The event comprised of 4 main components; Board Games, Roleplaying Sessions, Store & Lucky Door Prizes.

Board Games

This section includes a game library, BYO games, buy and play from the Alpha Gaming store.

Roleplaying

The roleplaying was designed to run as beginner level models, meaning new and experienced players could jump straight into an adventure. Generally the roleplaying sessions run for 4-5 hours.

The Store

The Alpha Gaming store will has only a small footprint at the event, so we can focus more on the play spaces.

Lucky Door Prizes

Ticket sales & various business sponsors fuel the event. From here I take of the event costs and anything left over generates the prize pool. The prize pool consists mainly of roleplaying and board games. Prizes are given out to attendees and game masters via a lucky draw system, each limited to winning only one item per day. Last years prize pool sat at approximately $2,500 worth of goods.
