Prologue: Older than recorded history, the Chest has seen the rise and fall of empires and civilisations. No one knows what is inside but there are many legends and rumours. For almost a century, forces both good and evil have searched for it without success - until now!

A harrowing encounter leads the party into the sewers and undercity of Blackrock in pursuit of a strange creature. Home to unsavoury characters, hideous creatures and dangerous cultists, the party must tread carefully if they wish to return to the surface alive.

Dark Chest of Wonders is an adventure series of world shattering possibilities. This first adventure module challenges the party with tracking down the origin of the strange creature and discovering its purpose. Can the party find the lair unaided and avoid the many traps and dangerous denizens of the sewers? Who are the mysterious cultists in purple robes? What is the rune covered black box and how is it opened?
